Students involved in the LA Multicultural Adventure learned why Los Angeles is one of the most diverse cities in America. Language teachers Michael Kozden and Hong Yao led the group through the Metrolink into the heart of LA, where Webbies savored a culinary journey consisting of authentic Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, and Korean dishes. They purchased Japanese pastries in Little Tokyo, took a stroll down Olvera Street and Chinatown, competed in a fun scavenger hunt, learned the basics of Chinese calligraphy, visited a traditional temple and singing room, practiced ancient martial arts, played traditional Asian games – and all in a three-day time span!
